Third Anniversary

Now that I'm typing this, I wonder why we wouldn't have stayed at the Four Seasons for our Fourth anniversary, but I didn't think of that before now.
Our wedding anniversary is next Tuesday, but we decided to celebrate the weekend before at
The Four Seasons
we stayed in one of the corner rooms where the balcony has patio furniture, lovely view!

Here's our room

We enjoyed a couple's massage and got ready for dinner
we ate:
Deviled Eggs cold appetizer
Quail as a hot appetizer
I had the Filet
Josh had the Cowboy steak
we shared the Maine Lobster Mac n Cheese (yumm)
and creamed spinach
chocolate souffle and chocolate ice cream with chocolate gnosh
and champagne on the house for our special occasion
oh he's handsome!
on the way out, Jake the Bachelor was coming in with his date.
I instantly recognized him and opened my mouth to say "Hi Jake" like I knew him, but stopped and just looked at him. He looked at me too, opened his mouth to say something, and hesitated, buttoned up his jacket and kept walking inside with his date.

Here's what I think was going to happen if we didn't filter:
me: Hi Jake
Jake: Hi, do I know you?
me: Nope, just recognized you.
Jake: oh, okay. Did y'all have a nice dinner?
me: Yes, enjoy yours too.

Okay, and here's me on the balcony.

and the wonderful man I wake up to every morning
only I don't see the food there in our bed at home
The HP Byron Nelson Championship PGA Tour was setting up for the upcoming tournament. We watched this right outside our window.

After some light reading, we headed to the pool to lounge.
A gal was waiting for us with 4 towels to drape over the chairs we selected (so pampering!) and we read some more. We saw a few golf champions walking around, too.
And we had a great time!
