If I read a good book, I promise to let you know.
Saturday and Sunday I read The Hunger Games. woah! Where did that come from? It's SO good. I was hooked and couldn't stop reading. I was told that it was the same writing caliber as Harry Potter and Twilight. I was not disappointed. There are two more books to come in the series, (see my reading list on the right) and I cannot wait to get my hands on them.
A movie on the first book will come out in March, so read up before then. All I can say is the directing and acting better not be as terrible as the first two Twilight movies.
Also, I read Skinny B*tch, a book about the food we eat, and how to be healthy. No, I'm not trying to lose weight, though I did lose 5 lbs in the first two weeks of giving up meat and sodas. I'm really just trying to be healthy, so I can feel healthy, and know what I'm putting into my body. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is curious about how to be healthy. The writers are vegan (no animal products), and I don't feel tremendous pressure to turn vegan, but I want to get close to it.
Please just read it, and let me know what changes you've decided to make in your diet. I'm looking for ideas, recipes, and routines I can stick to. One I'm working on is eating organic fruit for breakfast - only fruit. You'll understand why when you read. I'd love feedback!
